Aunt Krissa's Visit!

Aunt Krissa came for a visit this past week and it was wonderful! She was so helpful and sweet and got lots of Kenlee time. (Which makes this mama super happy-for them to bond, and for a break!) We were pretty lazy mostly, and it was awesome! We decorated for Christmas, made and decorated sugar cookies and other delicious treats, watched Elf, The Grinch, a lot of Once Upon a Time, Revenge, and Parenthood, cut out snow flakes, took pretty pictures of my little tutu princess (in the tutu's Krissa made for her), went to Cheese Haven, and made quite a few trips to Walmart! I LOVED having her here! I was so sad to say goodbye.

We were trying to get a cute picture of these two but Kenlee was not cooperating. She just wanted to eat Aunt Krissa's jacket. Love it!
But we did get this cute one when we all went for Pizza at Danny Boys!My cute twiners!A long overdue shot of Randon and I
Love this Krissa girl!
Thanks for coming Aunt Krissa! We love you!

Six Month Stats

Our Pretty Little Princess keeps growing much to my dismay. But she is getting more beautiful and doing so many fun things much to my joy! She is starting to crawl. Like actually crawl before she gives up and lays on her side. She's eating more and more solid foods. She's still walking so good in the walker, but she can steer and back up now and goes really fast. She has two teeth that popped up just a few weeks ago on the bottom. They are so cute. And as usual, she is the most beautiful, most precious baby ever!
Weight: 19 lbs 9 oz
Height: 27.5 inches
HC: 45 cm

Aunt Krissa has been visiting this week and it has been so wonderful! She helped me take these pictures of Kenlee. Enjoy!

Thanksgiving in Kentucky

We went to Kentucky for Thanksgiving this year. The Gordon's, the Knight's, and John's sister Amy and her family came for Thanksgiving Day, and Steven and Liz popped in for a quick visit the next day! It was so much fun! We spent the morning cooking and visiting, and then had a DELICIOUS meal. It might be one for the books! Before we ate we sang "For Health and Strength" which is a Udall family tradition. Marcie cried. Tender memories of Grandma and Grandpa and all the people who were not with us.

The Feast (don't you love Rachel's face?)
Easton and Isaac wanted the Turkey legs. After dinner the little boys jumped on the trampoline while the adults crashed.
A while after dinner we made an edible Turkey craft. (Thank you Pinterest). They turned out pretty cute. That night all the girls went to see Breaking Dawn...yikes! I won't even get into it. Suffice it to say, our row laughed...a lot.

The next day we went to a nearby park and played Ultimate Frisbee and tossed the football around a bit. Sorry, I was playing, so there are no pictures of that.
Most of the time we were there was spent hanging out and visiting. It was lovely. There also may have been a great deal of playing on the ipad and Xbox, too. On Saturday Rachel did a Yoga lesson for Lisa and I (Allen was a trooper for most of it but eventually went downstairs with the boys). Aaaand since I know you are dying to see pictures of my Gorgeous baby, I'm happy to oblige.
My Aunt Marcie made these beautiful hat/headbands, so just for fun we slipped one on Kenlee. It was a little big, but so cute!Feast your eyes on this little cutie!
Typical John. He was holding Kenlee and I wanted a picture. This is what I got. :) I love that John boy.
We handed Truman to John as well, and he and Kenlee started holding hands! BEST PICTURE EVER!! We had a marvelous time and were so sorry to go. But we are looking forward to going for Christmas in a month! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Fun new tricks and other recent activities...

My pretty jumping little bear has learned some new tricks lately.

She has been rolling for some time now, but lately she is all over the floor! On her tummy, on her back, on her tummy, on her back. So cute! Sometimes I'll just set her down and let her go to town. Once I looked away too long and found her with Randon's shoes in her mouth! Aagh! Woof. So I've started clearing the floor before she plays. Then the other day she was doing "attempt a crawl", so I took a video of course!

She also started sitting up all by herself last week. She can stay up for a long time before she gets tired and tumbles over. Except in the video below, she got so excited to come to me she toppled over fast. But she usually stays up longer. :)

She loves water, always has. So bath or shower time is so much fun with our little water baby. When she showers with one of us she likes to lick the water and swallow it. It's so funny!

She also loves eating her toes when she's on her back.
We went to our friends the Rackers the other day for a Fall fun picnic and potluck. Just before we left Kenlee was sitting in her car seat and she looked so hilarious, like she was just chillin'. So stinking cute!
When we got there, they had a huge pile of leaves. At first she didn't really like it, but after awhile she was very curious and sat for a little bit with Daddy.

We are just in LOVE with this pretty little baby!

Happy Halloween!

We had lots of fun this year for Halloween. My friend Tamsyn and I volunteered to be in charge of the ward Trunk-or-Treat. It was Friday night and there was Chile, Cornbread, delicious desserts and music. Lots of fun. We gave out prizes for the best decorated trunks. Randon came straight from work so he didn't get the chance to dress up (and he was real disappointed, let me tell you).

My parents bought Kenlee a mouse costume before she was even born. So I went as a cat.
This is my friend Rinda and her two little girls Ella and Jenna.
This is Jenni and Stewart who was also a mouse so we took a picture together.
By the end of the party Kenlee was so tired she zonked out on Randon. It was really cute.
Saturday Tamsyn had a Halloween party at her place. Randon and I went as Zombies (I was more of a Zombie doll because I wanted an excuse to wear red lipstick) and Kenlee wore her Unicorn hat from Grandma Walters.
Rinda and Jenna and Ella.
Monica
Dustin, Katie, and Ashlyn Portella.
Tamsyn and Boon. Don't you love his costume?
Watching the other kids hit the pinata outside.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
