So last night when Randon should have been studying...we played Critter Crunch on the PS3...for hours, and had a really hilarious time (high fiving, giggling, jumping up and down). I'm glad I married my BFF.
I'm just saying.

Weekend Fun
Thursday, Tawny, and Alan and Cara & Family came down for Matt's game. He played Friday night and WON! We all painted our faces with 44's and paw prints and made big signs that said, "#44 is our Brother!" and "#44 is my Uncle!" His next game will be in Glendale next Friday!

Saturday I went to Mesa for Jessica Johnson's baby shower! It was lots of fun! She is due March 9th. She, Ginny, and I had a really good time reminiscing about EAC days. It was so fun to see them! I love those girls so much!

After the shower I went to see the Walters. Jadon, Amanda, Shaylee, Krissa, Zach, Tylon, and I all went to the Cheesecake Factory and it was DELICIOUS! Then Krissa and I headed to the mall for a little shopping! She bought a couple of dresses and we got manicures! We had lots of fun! I sure enjoyed spending time with her! (I'm really sad I did not get a single picture!)
It was a really great weekend! How was yours?

Dib
Meet the newest member of the Herrington family. Dib. The cutest, fluffiest puppy you have ever seen! It was so fun to watch Bella have a playmate all day! She just loves and loves and loves on that little puppy. Too cute!

And I just thought I would throw this one in for fun. It was after Matt's game against Alshasay, which was INTENSE! But we won! Despite the fact that they brought their whole town, took up 3/4 of the gym, and yelled so loud my ears were still ringing an hour later. WhEw!

More Fun Updates!
So can I just say, that for a GIRL who really likes taking pictures, I have been SUPER bad about it lately! However, I did happen to snag a few on Thursday when some friends came to play with Bella and I. Cheri and her darling children came over and we played outside and went to see the animals! I only got my camera out for the swingset and trampoline, but hey, at least I got some.
Also, Saturday night we had a couples Valentine's Day Party and it was a blast! But of course I didn't get my camera out (dumb girl) so I don't have any pictures. Everyone brought finger foods and we played the newlywed game, which was absolutely HILARIOUS, and we just had a great time! The only picture I got was of Dena and I in our red and black.

Goings On
Last week was so crazy at the Herrington House. My mom got sick and went to the Hospital, the cows got out twice, the horse got in with the cows, Matt and Lela had basketball games, I had a job interview, I had to sing at the sacrament meeting for the Nursing Home, Randon and I had to speak in church, and it was my turn to prepare the Sunday school lesson...I was a little overwhelmed.
Here are a couple of videos I took of us trying to round up the cows for the SECOND time in two days. The first time my dad and Brian rounded them up, I was taking my mom to the ER.
I had to stop video taping because they started running in my direction. SCARY!
I told Randon and Brian separately to pose like a cowboy for me...this is what I got from each of them. Funny boys.
So here's what went down with my mom. Tuesday night and Wednesday she was feeling sick to her stomach, had some cramping, and couldn't keep anything down. We thought it was just a bad case of food poisoning from Jumbo's. Thursday morning she had some more severe pain and other kind of scary symptoms so I took her to the Emergency Room. They took a CT scan and saw that she had blockage in her bowel. They went in for surgery that very day around 4pm. What it turned out to be was something called Meckel's Diverticulum. In my super simplest lamens terms it means that some umbilical fragments from her birth, attached to her large intestines instead of being absorbed by her body (like most peoples). Sometime in the last 50 years it has grown and wrapped around her intestines causing blockage. So they removed about 10 inches of her intestines and a tumor the size of a small potato. We got the results back today from pathology the tumor was benign. Thank Heavens! She is doing well. The Doctors say she is a model patient. She had her first bites of solid food Sunday and is walking a little every day! She got to come home this morning and we are so happy to have her here!
Our talks went really well. My lesson....not so much. And to top off the fact that I wasn't as well prepared as I would have liked to be, the Stake President came for a little visit to my class! Great! Luckily I know him really well and he was very sweet and didn't have me released! :)
Matt and Lela both played well in their games against Thatcher. Lela's team lost. Matt's team won. And it was intense! I have never screamed so much at a basketball game in my life! CRAZY!
