Here is a fun little update for those who want to know what is going on in our lives right now. The week after we moved here, Randon was going back over some stuff at UofA (like making sure his degree was posted on his transcripts, paying off his account, etc.) When he went to pay off the account, however, we found that there was quite a large credit owed to us. He called to find out what the deal was, and it was a student loan that had just taken longer to process. So it had payed off the account, and the rest would be coming in the mail. Hmmmm. About a week later, Randon called NAU to see what the requirements were to apply for their MBA program. Lo and behold, he meets all the requirements, AND he can do some of the prerequisites here at (super cheap) EAC! So we had this lovely little sum of money that payed for all 17 credits he is taking, and all of his books! Isn't it amazing how the Lord works? He let's you wonder for a little while and then lays a nice little path for you to accomplish what needs to be done. Randon also got a part time job as a tutor for higher level math at the college.
Then on Saturday I spoke with a lady I know who works at one of the schools here and she said they are looking for a part-time kindergarten aid and to get in and see the person doing the hiring first thing Tuesday morning. So we'll see how that goes. I'll keep you posted. We also just got callings to be the Sunday School teachers for the 16 and 17 year olds in our ward. Good times. And last but not least, Brian and Leslie, Dena and Jacob, and Randon and I are all taking a "Building an Eternal Marriage" institute class on Wednesdays. Happy happenings here in neverland with the Walters.
