Las Vegas Trip

Okay last post before I go to bed. I got to go see the Ferrin's this weekend in Vegas! And, as usual, I had a blast! Lisa is auditioning for American Idol in a few weeks, so she sang the whole time and kept saying, "What do you think about this song?" Then she would sing it for me! It was so fun, we laughed so hard the whole time. We went shopping together, and ate at Claim Jumper and laughed and sang and laughed and sang and just had a really good time. She also gave me a really cute new do! So if you want to see my sassy new hair, courtesy of Lisa, check out her blog, she has some cute pics. I really love my Ferrins!

Jet Skis. So much fun! He kept trying to zoom close and spray me with water. This is me attempting to fight back.

Oh yes, this is my boss Ladies and Gentlemen.

Um...I don't know.

KARAOKE REVOLUTION!

So last week my Mom, Lela, Dena, and the Gordon's came to Tucson to take a train up to LA. We drove them to the train station at like 11 p.m. But while we waited, we played Karaoke Revolution! Or as I like to call it, a little KR! And of course, with such a musical family, it was so much fun! Everyone sang along no matter who had the headset! We all took turns...even Darrin sang "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch" (it was so AWSOME!). We had a really good time.

I just wanted to confirm your suspicions about me. I AM a nerd. It's realizations like this that come to you at 5:30 am when you are waiting in line at at a store that doesn't open until 8am while standing next to a guy that is way too passionate about his hobby with metal detectors. And something feels a little Walmart pep-rally corny when the store opens and there is cheering and clapping and flashes from cameras going off. No this is not the grand opening of a new store. But it was the grand opening of the new iPhone 3G. Yes I am the proud owner of a new iPhone after waiting 4 weeks after I sold my old phone on eBay to pay for the new one. I will have to say that all in all the experience was fun. I made 4 new friends, got a free breakfast sandwhich, free Chick-fil-A, and free drinks. But I don't think I will be doing anything like that again anytime soon.

Strong and spirited. You're no one's girly girl; actually you are very determined person with a strong sense of self. Never let go of that! The only thing that equals your sense of self is your family, but the traditions of society can always be bent to protect something or someone you love.
