Flagstaff Move

So we are finally here and mostly settled! It has certainly been an adventure! My Dad, Mom, Dena and I came in my Dad's truck pulling the trailer full of stuff! Randon and Jacob came in our car (also full of stuff), but they had to go through Phoenix so Randon could get his Substitute Teaching Certificate. Anyway, by the time he got the Flagstaff our breaks were completely SHOT! They were making the most horrible sound!
The Richardson's all came to help unload. We got it done pretty quickly. That night our new ward had a party/dinner, so we all took a break from unpacking and organizing and went for a bite. Our new ward is very friendly. Later that night, we found out that Tawny was in the ER with severe stomach pain, so my parents and Dena and Jacob drove home late that night. They didn't get home until 3:00 a.m. but it was good that they could be with Tawny. (Updates on Tawny to follow when we have more info!)
Since our breaks were out we had to borrow Cara and Alan's truck until we could get them fixed. We are so grateful they are here and willing to help. We finally were able to get our car in yesterday and ooo boy did we PAY for those breaks. Just know that we had to take a deep breath when handed over the debit card....:(
Anyway, the last few days have been spent unpacking and organizing. Our little place is starting to look like a home. Several people have been asking for pictures, but we just got the internet today so I will post some as soon as I can!
Our Bishopric stopped by tonight to welcome us and to visit! They are really nice men. I start work tomorrow as a Kindergarten Aide at Sechrist Elementary, and Randon is going to move forward with Substitute Teaching in the next few days.
That's what's up with us! We will keep you posted as new adventures come up in Flagstaff!

We've paid for brakes a few times on Brad's truck. This year we found out that his dad can change brakes! So Brad and his dad changed the brakes on our van about 2 months ago! It cost like $80 and took an hour!

Randon needs to find someone to teach him to do brakes!
