Kenners!

Kenlee's nickname has been Kenners for awhile now. I just wanted to share a few fun details about this sweet little 13 month old. She is so funny and cute. I just want to remember these things about her down the road. She has been talking a lot more lately. Babbling a lot, but forms a lot of words, too.  Some new favorites are "hiiii" she says it really high pitched the way she hears me say it on the phone. She will also say "peesssss" (please) and "dane doo" (thank you) with some prompting from me. She gives kissed now but with a wide open mouth! I keep trying to show her how to kiss with puckered lips...it's a work in progress. But she is so sweet to give kisses!  She loves her blankets, I keep a bunch in her bed and she has some near her toys. She loves to snuggle with them and throw them over here head.  She is super active. She runs around the house, back and forth constantly. Sometimes when she runs she twists her hips and arms. It is so cute! She loves to do yoga poses (not that she knows what that is) she just plays on the floor and does like down dog and sticks one leg in the air. She loves to dance and spin and jump. The other day she jumped and both feet left the floor. She started climbing up the stairs about the time she started walking, but just recently we taught her how to go down them the right way on her tummy so she doesn't fall. It's nice, because we have never had a gate that would fit on the bottom of our weird shaped staircase, so now we don't have to worry about her climbing up and down because she can do it the right way! She is also a very good eater. She is never picky. Lately her favorite foods are oatmeal (I can't feed it to her fast enough), bananas, "nanas" as she calls them, and granola bars. And she is a super good sleeper. She sleeps from about 7:30 to 6:30 depending on the day. She is still taking two naps a day, but we are working on going down to just one. She is so smart. She understands most of our instructions and is a good follower. We started swimming lessons at the beginning of the summer just to get her used to the water and she's getting more adjusted but still isn't super comfortable. We've been going to the beach for sometime but she only recently started being brave and playing in the water and sand. We adore her. She is the cutest, sweetest, smartest little girl there ever was!
